Here are six great new features of the two new iPhones:

1) Bigger, but thinner

The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are the first actual big screen phones from Apple, with respective 4.7­inch and 5.5­inch screens, but that’s not all the new design has to offer. Both have curved edges, for a more attractive look, and a slimmer design making them a sleeker competitor in a world of increasingly well-designed smartphones.

2) New HD screens

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus come with Retina HD screens strengthened by glass. This makes for a much better display for anyone streaming videos and for those games you like to play during downtime at the airport or lunch.

3) Better for texting

This one may be one of the biggest improvements. The new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have been adapted for better texting with a “double­tap” feature, which will accommodate your thumbs, and the ability to learn your conversational style (suggesting words based on your previous entries), to help you reply to messages quicker and more efficiently.

4) Enhanced Wi­Fi capabilities

This is great for those who love to capture each and every moment of their lives on their phones.

The new iSight camera boosts the same 8MP resolution as the iPhone 5, but it focuses 2x faster, making it a lot easier to capture memories, especially those which happen to be in motion. Although the 6s Plus has better picture taking capabilities (includingoptical image stabilization), the iPhone 6s is no slouch as it captures 1080p HD video, has a front camera optimized for selfies, with everything from smile and blink detection, to the “burst mode,” which takes several shots in one go, to ensure you capture the perfect pose.

6) Finally, longer battery life

Since this was always iPhone carriers’ biggest complaint, the improved battery life has to be one of the most positive features of the new iPhone 6s. The regular iPhone 6s has a 10 hour battery life for Internet surfing thanks to a more efficient processor, while the 6 Plus, which has a bigger battery, should last you about 12 hours. That means more time on the phone, and on your apps. All in all, these puppies should be able to take you through a whole day or very close to it, especially if you aren’t actually streaming or browsing continuously all day long.

In truth, it’s quite hard to pick just the top six new features of the iPhone 6s, since it packs so many new things into its slim design.
